He is the founder of the ideology Akhoonism, a system of thought that promotes mindset transformation, system decoding, and strategic civic empowerment. Early Life and Education
Zakir Hossain was born in Chamba, Himachal Pradesh, and hails originally from Gurez in Jammu and Kashmir. He holds a Master’s degree in Philosophy and has received an honorary Ph.D. in Philosophy. In addition, he holds qualifications in Law and Journalism, and is a certified Master Life Coach and an Internationally Certified Career Coach. He is fluent in Hindi, English, and Kashmiri.
Career
Zakir began his professional journey in 2009 as an educator in the School Education Department of Jammu and Kashmir. Over the years, he has played a vital role in educational leadership, serving as a mentor, trainer, and cluster-level academic coordinator. In 2022, he was nominated as a member of the State Curriculum Framework Committee by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT).
He is the founder of Akhoonz.com and its learning platform academy.akhoonz.com, through which he conducts courses, mentorship programs, and public awareness initiatives focused on system thinking, goal setting, and civic empowerment.
