Yoon-jong Choi (Hangul: 최윤종) is a 30 year old South Korean murder suspect. Referred to by online netizens as the ‘Sillim-dong rapist’ or the ‘Brass Knuckle rapist’ because of the location of, and weapon used in the alleged attack.[1] Choi was arrested on August 19th 2023 for the assault of a now deceased victim in Seoul’s Sillim-dong neighborhood. The victim, a schoolteacher in her 30s, was attacked on August 17th 2023, pronounced dead on August 19th. Following the victim’s passing, Choi’s charges were changed to rape and murder.[2]
