Yogi Devagange, hailing from a small village in Karnataka, is a prominent figure in the Kannada film industry. He has been an avid reader of short stories and an ardent writer himself. With 16 years of experience in the industry, he has progressed from being a writer and associate director to becoming an independent director. Yogi's first directed movie, "2nd Half," gained recognition and his second movie, "Gandhi Matu Notu," won four awards at the Bangalore International Film Children Festival.
Career
Yogi Devagange started his career as assistant director on the film Mungaru Male (2006), working with Yogaraj Bhat,and he got an opportunity to direct his first film 2nd Half (2018) independently.
2nd Half (2018) _First Project
The story talks about the life of a woman police constable Anuradha (Priyanka Upendra) who assigned to the police CCTV control room. On her job, she gets intrigued by the life of a young girl, Saranya (Surabhi Santosh) who is a free-spirited artist. In her newfound interest in spotting this girl on CCTV, she witnesses the girl go missing one day through the CCTV which abruptly ends when the camera stops working. The rest of the story is about how she sets out on a mission to find the girl with the help of a local boy named Niru (Niranjan Sudhindra) who also happens to be Saranya's lover.

The story of this movie represents the philosophy, value, education and struggle of Gandhiji.The strength and personality of the Gandhi mandira found in the education system of the western ghat villages is important.Sukri (Divija Nagendraprasad), a little girl, got good mental and intellectual education in such Gandhi mandira.It is a question of whether the Gandhiji found in her education will travel into her life and make Gandhiji's principled values her own.If Gandhiji is on the banknote, a sentence like use the banknote for good will gradually change, instead of losing the original and Gandhi should be removed from the banknote, what absurdity will happen in the society politically.How twisted speech organizes a girl's life and struggle.Amid the pro-Gandhi opposition,The story is whether Gandhiji is on the note or not.How does a girl Gandhi survive?
