Yeom Kwang-ho(Korean: 염광호; born December 24, 1985) is a South Korean actor.
Early life and education
He was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the ROTC Army in his early 20s and served as an officer.[1]
Career
After discharge from the military service, he debuted in the KBS drama 'Brain'(2011). Afterwards, he founded a film investment distribution, publishing, and record label 'Paxroyal'. He started working in the film industry in earnest when his first lead movie, 'Papa Oranghutan', was invited to the Seoul International Agape Film Festival in 2017.[2] Since then, he has been invited to many major Korean film festivals and awards ceremonies, such as the Busan International Film Festival and Blue Dragon Film Awards. He has a special history, and that is, he appeared in the documentary 'Seoul, Pyongyang, A Tale of Two Cities'(JTBC, 2018), a co-production between South and North Korea. He also went to Sweden for training in 2015. Afterwards he worked as a visiting researcher at the 'Scandinavian Institute for Policy Studies' in Sweden. In addition, he has been appointed as a policy advisory member of 'The Yeouido Institute'(2017)[3] and an advisory member of the 'Peaceful Unification Advisory Council'(2021) that advises the president of the Republic of Korea. So he was active in research institutes and the government.
