Yarian slevin, born September 27 1977, is a father to three children and a husband. He is most famous for being the lead singer in the hit band “DJ and the sewer rats” they debuted in 1995 but it was only until 1998 did they get their first song on the charts with “underground city” peaking at No.45 on the billboard 100 and charted for only 7 weeks. In 1999 they released possibly the most controversial song of the year with “don’t make me scream goodbye” which was their second song to get on the billboard 100 and peaked at No.7 and charted for 20 weeks. After their two singles the band released a debut album on July 4th 1999, called Domination. It consisted of 14 songs, all of which charted on the billboard 100. This album got the band their first song in the top 5 with “too soon, too late” which peaked at No.4 and charted for 44 weeks. The second song to get in the top 5 was the albums lead single “apocalyptic Paris” which peaked at No.2 and charted for 32 weeks. 3 years later in august 15th 2002 the band released a second album called “streetcar” which consisted of 21 songs with only 7 of them charting. This album was a commercial flop with only 2 songs getting into the top 5. “Cold right now” which peaked at No.48 and charted for 3 weeks and “lay me in roses” which peaked at No.23 and charted for 5 weeks. The band decided to brake up. This was the start of Yarian’s solo career and released is solo debut album on January 3rd 2003 “on my own” with 17 songs, all of which making it into the top 50 and 3 making it into the top 10, “leave me be” which peaked at No.6 and charted for 37 weeks, “lane way thinking” which charted at No.4 and charted for 42 weeks and “never say never” which peaked at No.2 and charted for 47 weeks. This was the last anyone heard of Yarian until March 21st 2004 when Charles Bradford, one of the members of “Dj and the sewer rats” died in s tragic accident. A month later on April 7th 2004 the band reunited in memory of Bradford and released the bands 3rd album “miss you” this had 12 songs, all of which made it into the top 30 with 5 making it into the top 10. 3 of these made it into the top 5 with “miss you” peaking at No.5 and charting for 25 weeks, “can’t deal” peaking at No.2 and charting for 17 weeks and “lift me higher” peaking at No.1 and charting for 31 weeks, 3 of which weeks the song spent at no.1. Yarian decided to quit the band soon after to take care of his family and in 2012 the band, not including Yarian, got back together, naming themselves the sewer rats[1]
