Yanni Konstantinidis (Born March 23, 1994)[1] known professionally as Yanni Bravo, is a Greek-American[2] rapper, singer, songwriter, and model. He is best recognized for his 2021 hit single "Lil Star" which peaked at #14 on the Greek Spotify Charts. [3]

Early life

Bravo was born and raised in Boston Massachusetts.[4] Yanni is of Greek and Italian descent.[1][2] His father, Kostas, hails from Agia Varvara, Athens, Greece.[2] His mother, Donna, is of Italian descent.[1][2] In an interview with The National Herald, he spoke on how his Greek heritage helped shape his love for music from an early age, stemming from experiences listening to CDs his father would bring home for him from Greece. Bravo's first major single came in 2017 when he remixed Sean Paul|Sean Paul's "Get Busy", a song which scored him his first viral hit after surfacing in memes on the popular Instagram page 'Hoodclips'.[4] His next major success came in the summer of 2021 with the release of his highly anticipated collaboration "Lil Star" with Greek rappers Mad Clip and Light.[3] Peaking at #14 on the Greek Spotify Charts, "Lil Star" helped secure Bravo's presence in the Greek Trap hip-hop|Trap scene. In 2019, Bravo walked for Italian fashion designer Alessandro Trincone at New York Fashion Week, as detailed by Vogue Italia.[5]
