Yakoob Ganj is a small village of 688 hectares in Tonk Tehsil in Tonk district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Yakoob Ganj depends on Tonk, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Yakoob Ganj is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Yakoob Ganj's pin code is 304001[4], and village code is 02646000. The area of Yakoob Ganj is segregated as 89.98 hectares irrigated area, 524.37 hectares unirrigated, the 38.22 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 35.43 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Tonk to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
