Biography

Yadgar Lateef Jamshir was born on February 1, 1971, in Sharazur District outside of Sulaymaniyah, Iraq. He completed his secondary school and high school education in Sharazur and Sulaymaniyah.

In July 1995, he was awarded a B.Sc. degree in Arabic. He earned an M.Sc. degree in Arabic in June 2005 after presenting a thesis. Dr. Yadgar received a PhD degree in New Criticism and Narratology on August 1, 2008, for his thesis entitled "Aesthetics of Reception in the Quranic Narrative," supervised by Professor Dr. Bushra Al-Bustani.
