YXNG K.A is a rapper from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was born on April 12, 2003. and grew up in Abbotsford Homes, a public housing project in the north part of the city[1]. He was an athlete in high school where he played football and basketball. He dropped out of high school in Grade 12 when he began to achieve musical success [2]
Although YXNG K.A enjoyed music throughout his life, he did not aspire to be a rapper. He wrote and recorded his first track in February 2019 at the suggestion of a friend and his music found instant support within the Abbotsford Housing Projects[3]. His career evolved quickly, and by May 2019 at the age of 17, YXNG K.A had signed with a record label [4].
His debut EP, Baby Reaper, was released in 2020. His second album, Reaper Szn, was released in 2021.
YXNG K.A is represented by Philadelphia's Stack and Starve Records and has a record deal with Interscope Records.
