Xue Wei (薛嬪) (6th century?) —555), favored concubine of Gao Yang, Emperor Wenxuan of Northern Qi.

Xue was originally a famous prostitute under the court, and had earlier been friendly with Gao Yue, the king of Qinghe, and later Gao Yang was included in the harem and made a concubine. Xue Concubine had a sister who was also accepted by Gao Yang, and Gao Yang and the Xue sisters sometimes did not leave the bed for several days.

Gao Weiyan, the king of Pingqin, had a grudge with Gao Yue and provoked Gao Yang that Gao Yue had had a relationship with Xue. It just so happened that Xue Concubine's sister came again to ask Gao Yang to make her father Situ. Gao Yang said, "How can Senior Official Situ ask for it?" Xue Concubine's sister also spoke out, and Gao Yang sawed Da Xue to death in a fit of anger, accusing Gao Yue of "raping and adultering people's women". Gao Yue defended: "The minister originally wanted to accept this daughter (Xue Concubine), but thought she was frivolous, so he did not accept her. Gao Yang was so angry that he was laughing at himself and killing Gao Yue with poisoned wine. Gao Yue was not convinced, and Gao Guiyan advised him to "drink this to get the whole family", and Gao Yue had to commit suicide. Xue Concubine was pregnant, temporarily delayed, and after giving birth to a daughter, Gao Yang killed Xue Concubine again. After killing Concubine Xue, Gao Yang regretted it again, cut off the heads, and brought them into the Dongshan banquet, and everyone in the audience was shocked. Later, he made Xue Concubine's bones into a pipa, and cried and played, singing "Beautiful people are hard to get [!" "Personally put on his hair and feet for the funeral, crying loudly.
