William L. O'Neill (April 18, 1935 - March 29, 2016) was an American social and political historian, noted for his examination of political radicals.
Life
William Lawrence O’Neill was born in Big Rapids, Michigan, a small city north of Grand Rapids, on April 18, 1935. His father, John, was an oil wildcatter. His mother, the former Helen (née Marsh), was a teacher.[1]
