William Cuylle (born 5 February 2002) is a Canadian professional ice hockey winger (ice hockey) who is currently playing for the Windsor Spitfires in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) as the team's captain and a prospect to the New York Rangers of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was drafted 60th overall by the New York Rangers in 2nd round of the 2020 NHL Entry Draft. [1]
Playing career
Cuylle plays hockey for the Windsor Spitfires in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). After being selected by the New York Rangers in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft, he played in 13 games with the Rangers' AHL affiliate, the Hartford Wolf Pack, scoring two goals and three assists for a total of five point before on April 19, 2021, Cuylle signed an entry-level contract with the New York Rangers. On October 14, 2021, the Windsor Spitfires announced that Cuylle will be the new Captain of the team for the upcoming 2021-22 OHL Season, his third with the team. Prior to the announcement, Cuylle had played in 125 regular season games in his two seasons with the team while scoring a total of 48 goals and 35 assists for 83 points. [3]
