Wasilpur is a small village of 467.6 hectares in Banda Tehsil in Banda district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Wasilpur depends on Tindwari (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Wasilpur's pin code is 210128[4], and village code is 04793100. The area of Wasilpur is segregated as 277.86 hectares irrigated area. the 117.82 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves).
