Wanyan Zonggan

Wanyan Zonggan (完顏宗幹; d.1141), personal name Woben, formally known as Prince of Liao (遼王), was an imperial prince of the Jurched–led Jin dynasty (266–420).[1]He was the only son of Emperor Taizu of Jin with Empress Guangyi. He is the adoptive father of Emperor Xizong of Jin and the biological father of Wanyan Liang.

There is no record of his birth year. Wanyan Zonggan was a Grand Preceptor of Jin [2][3].

Afther his uncle Emperor Taizong of Jin was crowned emperor , Wanyan Zonggan was very active in gouvernamental affairs , togheter with Wanyan Gao (完顏杲).In 1139 he was named Prince of Liao.

In 17 june 1141, Wanyan Zonggan passed away. He was posthumosly awarded with the title of Emperor Dezong (德宗皇帝)
