Wang Hu , born in Zhangqiu, Shandong Province.[1],is currently the executive vice president and executive director of the Egyptian Chinese Friendship Council[2], the president of the Egyptian Stone Association [3]and the overseas director of the Shandong Overseas Exchange Association[2]. He was sent to Egypt to study in 1995[4].
Life
In 1971,Wang Hu was born in an ordinary family in Zhangqiu City and studied in the local primary and middle schools. In 1991, he was successfully admitted to China Islamic Scripture Institute, specializing in religion and Arabic,In 1995, the State Bureau of religious affairs and the China Islamic Association sent a group of students to study at Azhar University in Egypt. Wang Hu was selected by the Religious Affairs Bureau of the State Council to study at Azhar University in Egypt.[4]
In 1995, Wang Hu just arrived in Egypt. He noticed that almost every box was written 'made in China'. Wang Hu saw the process of Chinese goods from scratch in Egypt.[1]
In 2000, at the suggestion of Zhejiang businessmen, Wang Hu saw the potential market of diamond saw blades in Egypt, and organized a part of the domestic supply to export to Egypt. Wang Hu obtained a special steel factory license for the reason of improving the employment rate of Egyptian society. So far, Wang Hu has entered the steel industry.[1]
On September 2, 2009, the overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Shandong Province (abbreviated as the overseas Chinese Affairs Office) met with Wang Hu, a visiting Egyptian Chinese. Shi Jin, a representative of the overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Shandong Province, invited Wang Hu to participate in the "year of overseas Chinese doctor's investment and entrepreneurship cooperation and exchange" held in Zao zhuang and Jining in September to see if there are any projects that can be invested.[2]
In December 2016, Wang Hu, an Egyptian Chinese entrepreneur, received a delegation from China News Agency to visit his own enterprise. Wang Hu opened six marble processing plants and two steel production enterprises in Egypt, and leased and operated a steel enterprise owned by the Egyptian military.Against the background of China's steel surplus, Wang Hu purchased Chinese steel production equipment and set up production lines in Egypt[5].
