Walera is a small village of 3004 hectares in Sayla Tehsil in Jalor district, also known as Granite City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Walera depends on JALOR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, which is 587.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Walera is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Walera's pin code is 343022[4], and village code is 02273600. The area of Walera is segregated as 1587 hectares irrigated area, 1212 hectares unirrigated, the 129 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 75.58 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jalor to sell ghee and make their living.
