Vivian Olodun was born in Fulda, Germany, to Aderemi Olodun and Alicia Elena Olodun. She grew up with two older brothers while her parents served in the United States Military. Due to frequent relocations, she attended nine schools in twelve years. Olodun holds three degrees from Barry University in Political Science, Public Relations, and Public Administration.

Marketing and entrepreneurship

Olodun has over 18 years of experience in marketing, working with clients ranging from financial institutions and real estate professionals to product-based businesses. She has managed digital marketing platforms for brands including Capital One Bank, Samsung, FedEx, and TradeStation.

In 2016, she co-founded Flourish Media Co., a full-service marketing agency franchise that offers services such as social media architecture, email marketing strategy, content management, and video marketing. The firm helps small businesses increase revenue through strategic digital marketing.

Behind The Leaf and Flourish Media Conference

As Managing Director of Behind The Leaf, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Olodun organizes the annual Flourish Media Conference in Miami, Florida. The two-day event connects minority women business owners with angel investors, banks, and alternative funding sources. The conference has helped facilitate over US$15 million in funding for women-led businesses.
