Vivek Verma is a Client of WikiProfessionals Inc. Indian playback singer, and composer, producer.[1] Introduced to Bollywood industry by Himesh Reshammiya, Vivek played musical roles in several films such as Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, Khiladi 786, The Expose, and All Is Well among others.

After working in recording studios, he made his debut into Independent music and released two albums titled Humsafar and Mai Aur Tu besides releasing single songs in collaboration with music labels like Zee Music, Saregama and Sony Music India.[2]

Career

Initially associated with Indian classical music, some of his compositions involve electronic music. Before making his debut in the music industry, he started learning from Ganesh Prasad Mishra from Benares gharana and Anil Acharya and Sanjeev Mukherjee from Punjab gharana. He later went to Kolkata for music studies.[2] The Diplomat, an American magazine published a report in 2020, claiming "Bollywood discriminates against newcomer playback singers".

Early life

He was born to a middle-class family, where both his parents served as school teachers. He grew up in Kolkata, India and later in 2011, he moved to Mumbai where he met with an Indian singer, Himesh Reshammiya. He subsequently joined his team and played significant roles in various films such as Action Jackson, All is Well, Sanam Teri Kasam, Teraa Surroor, and other Hindi language films.[3]
