Vishnu Shyam is an Indian music director, Programming (music) and songwriter who works prominently in Malayalam film industry. [1] He started his career after joining his idol and Guru composer Vidyasagar and worked and played keyboard for movies Anarkali (2015), Thoppil Joppan (2016), Jomonte Suvisheshangal (2017), Thiruttupayale 2 (2017), etc. Did his debut by scroing for the malayalam movie Nonsense (2018) directed by MC Jithin. Composed the music for renowned musical short film Hi Hello Kaadhal[2][3] starring Gouri G Kishan, Sarjano Khalid directed by Vinayak Sasikumar. His debut independent film as music director is the upcomming Jeethu Joseph directorial movie RAM.[4]
Early life
Born to Shyam Kumar and Shylaja PP in Kannur district. His early interest in music started when he was doing his schooling at St. Michaels AIHSS, Kannur. During school days, most of his time was spent to play keyboard, drums and singing for cultural and youth festivals. He got trained in carnatic music from Shri. Edayar Shankaran Namboothiri[5]. Being an ardent fan of composer Vidyasagar he moved to Chennai to work with him. Meanwhile he completed his graduation from Loyola College, Chennai.
