Vindhya Vishaka Medapati is an Indian Television Anchor, sports Presenter, Video Jockey, Emcee, Social worker & a Model. She is Best Known as a Telugu Sports Presenter. She is the First woman to host the Indian Premier League (IPL) in Telugu with Star Sports Network. She currently works as a Broadcaster for Star sports and Hosted Tournaments such as Pro kabaddi League, Indian Premier League, 2019 Cricket World Cup and Many More. Vindhya is the Founder & President of Swecha Welfare Foundation.
Early life and family
Vindhya Was Born on 18th April 1992 in Secunderabad. Her Father M Satti Reddy is a Farmer While Mother Mamatha Chakravarthy is a Teacher. She is Graduated From Kasturba Gandhi Degree and PG College for women in Marredpally and Completed Her Master's Degree (MA English) from Osmania University.
Career
Vindhya was the Runner up of Fashion Big Bazaar sponsored Miss Cover Girl Hyderabad 2011 and Walked the Ramp at Kalamandir Hyderabad Fashion Week. She Started her Career as a News Reader with HMTV in November 2011 and Later joined Star Maa Music as a VJ in 2013 and hosted a successful morning live show 'Chai Biscuit'. In 2014, Vindhya Hosted a Comedy show Called 'Family Circus' on Zee Telugu. In 2016 she Hosted Another Comedy show 'Hungama' on ETV Plus until 2017.
In 2017 July , She joined Star Sports Network as a Sports Presenter and hosted High Profile Tournaments Including Pro kabaddi League, Indian Premier League & ICC Cricket World Cup. Vindhya is Currently Co Hosting a Game show For Couples on ETV Called 'Nuvvu Ready Nenu Ready'.
