Vinayakpura is a small village of 2311 hectares in Osian Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Vinayakpura depends on Jodhpur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Vinayakpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Vinayakpura's pin code is 342037[4], and village code is 01945200. The area of Vinayakpura is segregated as 432.68 hectares irrigated area, 653.8 hectares unirrigated, the 782.7 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 441.44 hectare area not available for cultivation.
