Vikram Singh (born 12 December 1976) is an Indian author, adventurer and an avid reader. A banker by profession, Vikram has lived and traveled extensively. Based on his travel experiences, he creates fascinating stories to entertain his readers. He was recognized as Amazon’s best-selling novelist with his debut novel.[1][2]

Education and Early Life

Vikram Singh has earned a Master’s degree in international business from Grenoble Ecole de Management, France, an MBA degree in Marketing from Bharati Vidyapeeth University in Pune, and has graduated in Science from the Gandhi Memorial Science College (erstwhile Prince of Wales College) of Jammu University, J&K. Vikram completed his schooling at DBN, Jammu. He moved to New Delhi to pursue his career in banking.

Vikram was raised in a traditional Dogra Rajput family in Jammu, known as the city of temples. His father, Dalip Singh, served in the State Administrative Services, and his mother, Parveen K Bhatyal, worked in academia. His sister, Sheetal Rajput, is the founder and Editor-in-Chief of Sheetal Rajput Media Network.

Vikram has been a Banker for over a decade and gradually pursued his long-hidden quest for writing. He has contributed to many local and international magazines, including academic editorials on artificial intelligence in banking[3] [4] [5], Leadership[6], Start-ups, etc.[7] [8] He has written two fiction novels and is working on his third book. His debut novel, Mystery of the Urban Monks[9], was published in 2020 by StoryMirror Infotech Pvt Ltd and is an Amazon #1 Bestseller[10]. Vikram has supported many causes and organizations, such as IINREM, focused on women's empowerment and capacity-development programs to generate livelihoods for rural and semi-urban communities.

Personal Life

Vikram Singh is married to Pooja Singh, who leads the program monitoring department at Safe Water Network, a US-based non-profit organization. He has two children, Yuvan and Anayra.

Career

Vikram Singh started his journey in banking in Mumbai and has held senior-level positions at HDFC Bank and Reliance Capital. In 2017, he joined L&T Finance as an Account Director. He worked at the organization for two years before leaving in 2019 to pursue his dream of writing. He began with a short story write-up on ‘God’s Own Child’ for Kaleidoscope. Soon, within the year, his inner monologue compelled him to write a fiction novel, Mystery of the Urban Monks – a riveting story of three friends experiencing their life journeys and leaving one with a cause to ponder. The book was widely appreciated by the international reader community and the media.[11] [12] [13]

The Royal Abduction, his second recently published thriller fiction by Srishti Publishers, has earned widespread acclaim across all genres, cementing its status as a literary masterpiece.[14] [15]

In 2019, Vikram started his Entrepreneurial journey by co-founding Renaissance India Investment Advisors and is now dedicated to growing the company and publishing his third novel.
