Vijaypur is a small village of 494 hectares in Banera Tehsil in Bhilwara district, also known as the Textile City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Vijaypur depends on Gulabpura, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 31.22% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Vijaypur is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Vijaypur's pin code is 311030[4], and village code is 02824600.
