Vijay Kant Tiwari (Born 17 March) is an Indian Cricketer who plays for Indian Disabled Team. Vijay Kant Tiwari is a right hand Middle order batsman and Right arm off spinner. The all-rounder is a regular member of the Karnataka team. He represented Indian team in seven international matches. He was coached by Suresh Shanbal (a former Karnataka Ranji Trophy cricketer).[1]

Early life

Vijay Kant Tiwari was born on 17th March in Aurangabad, Maharashtra, to an Army background family. He completed his studies in Kendriya Vidyalaya in Bangalore. Vijay Kant Tiwari was met with an accident at the age of 14 which left his Right foot shorter than the left foot. He was informed about a cricket camp for the disabled from his friend after which he attended the camp and was successfully selected for the team.

Career

Vijay Kant Tiwari Has played more than 15 International Matches. He is also an active player for Karnataka State Physically Challenged Cricket Association (KSPCCA).
