Vidhya Vinod born on the 20th of August 1977 is a UAE-based Indian women entrepreneur.[1] she is the President and CEO of Study World Education Holding Group.[2] She is one among the promoters of Kerala based television channel Flowers (TV channel).[3] [4] Since 2012, the time she has been in business in UAE, Dr. Vidhya vinod has opened subsidiary education organizations such as The Global College Malta and the Study World Education Holdings Ltd.[1] [5]

Early life

Dr. Vidhya was born on 20th August 1977 in Kannur, Kerala, India. she completed her schooling in Coimbatore.[6] She pursued a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science and a Masters Degree in Computer Applications. Later she acquired her Doctorate in Management for the research topic “Entry of foreign Universities into Dubai and its proportional impact to Dubai’s Economy”.[7]

Career

Dr. Vidhya started her academic career as a lecturer. She played a key role in setting up the first foreign university (Heriot-Watt University Dubai Campus) in Dubai International Academic City in 2005. Currently, she is the CEO of Study World Education Holding Group Dubai and executive director of EIKON International.[2] [8]

Personal life

Dr.Vidhya is married to Mr.Vinod Neethakandam and is a mother of 2 daughters and 2 sons. [1]
