Vidhan Karki is a renowned Music Video and Short Film Director of Nepal [1],[2]. He is well known for his work in Nepali Music Videos and Short Films [3]. On First Global Nepali Film Award (2016) which was held at Denver, Colorado, USA, Vidhan won national award for Best Director Short Films for his extraordinary work on Job Application and also bagged an award on 2018 as a Best Music Video Director Contribution award[4]. His creative work on music videos such as Timro Sansar (2016), Mai Ramri (2015), led him to get the national award as a Best Music Video Director.
After studying two years of Film Making in the US,[5] he came back to Nepal and resumed his work. His work found further critical and commercial success with Naboli Naboli (2021), received award for Best Modern Song Video Director in Nepali Music & Fashion Award (2021) [7], Best Music Video Director Modern Song at 3rd Young Minds Entertainment Awards (2021) [8]where he has received Jury Music Video Director Award (2021) on National Entertainment Awards [9].
Karki is also known for his long time collaboration with composer Arjun Pokharel [10],[11], [12], [13], [14] with whom he has worked for all but 14 of his Music Videos.
