Victoria Topping is an artist and illustrator.

She studied Illustration at the University of Western England, graduating in 2008.

Since graduating, Topping has held solo exhibitions across the UK and Europe including shows in London, Barcelona, Strasbourg, Ibiza and Bristol.

With a practice that combines digital and traditional techniques, Topping's works are a form of collage. 'Victoria creates her vibrant, rhythmic prints using a combination of traditional techniques and digital technology'.[1] Known for her printmaking, Topping now also creates original pieces; one-off multimedia works that are a hybrid of painting and collage.

In 2019 Topping illustrated her first book, Mythologica, a non-fiction introduction to Ancient Greek mythology written by Classics professor Stephen Kershaw. The book received positive reviews, including in The Guardian: 'Victoria Topping’s gold-leaf-and-collage illustrations evoke all the ferocity, beauty and fascination of Kershaw’s gods, heroes and beasts.'[2] Mythologica was awarded children’s non-fiction book of the year 2019 on Amazon.

Topping is also known for her work designing record sleeves and album art, providing the artwork for releases by Sun Ra, Sly 5th Ave, Native Dancer, DJ Die and, through her position as Artistic Director for On the Corner Records, an independent record label based in London, Collocutor, Hieroglyphic Being, Siti Muharam and DJ Khalab.
