Veronica Vitale is a composer, music producer, and recording artist of Italian-American heritage.

Early Life

Born in Pompei, Italy, Vitale grew up in a neighboring Vesuvian town. Her father Giuseppe ran the regional post office while her mother Carolina was a teacher in an elementary school. She showed early musical aptitude as a youngster but was bullied at school.

Career

European Beginnings

Vitale moved to Frankfurt, Germany in 2010 to start her music career. It was there her debut album, Nel Mio Bosco Reale (2010), reached the Top 10 on Amazon.de's charts. She performed at venues like Musikmesse Frankfurt and the Frankfurt Book Fair,and gave a 2015 performance at Palazzo Acampora in Naples.

In 2011 she published the song "Il Cielo (Heaven)" for earthquake relief efforts in Japan and the single was included in Newcomer Helps compilation alongside emerging artists. The song was apart of a larger international compilation Songs for Japan,[1] which raised over $5 million for disaster relief.

Vitale's "Under the Sky of Another Dream," featuring guitarist Leon Hendrix won the Critics' Prize at "Guitars Instead of Guns" in Winnenden in 2014. She also performed in Italy at "Festestiva festival" in Montesilvano in August 2016.

Transition to United States

Vitale relocated to Cincinnati, Ohio in 2015 and then later she relocated Los Angeles. With collaborators including Bootsy Collins, Ouiwey Collins, Jess Lamb, The Mad Stuntman, and producer Patrick Hamilton, she recorded Inside the Outsider (2018). In 2017, Vitale was featured in Italo Treno's cultural magazine I Sensi del Viaggio beside other artists including writer Antonio Scurati and photographer Oliviero Toscani. In November 2018, the album's first single "World Travels" featuring The Mad Stuntman premiered on Mediaset when Vitale returned to Italy in 2018 to begin album promotion.

On October 1, 2021 Vitale released the single and music video of Transparent Media outlets described the project as an embodying resilience. In the same month she announced Prismatic Dojo as an upcoming experimental album project. Later that year, she released "Nobody Is Perfect" with Bootsy Collins.

Artist United

Vitale established Artist United in 2020 during Italy's first COVID-19 lockdown. Hymn to Humanity premiered on September 1, 2020 as a multilingual virtual choir of 250 musicians from 25 countries. it was covered in the international media across four continents, including dedicated reports in Bahrain and articles in Gulf Weekly's cultural column. Speaking on cultural welfare policy in 2021, Vitale represented the project at Italy's National Conference for Sustainable Development.Along with these projects, she helped to live-stream Masses from the Santa Maria Lauretana parish during the pandemic to digitally unite the Agerola, her family's second hometown. Reporting from Atlanta, Vatican News noted that Vitale referred to these streams as a "source of comfort" for Italian exiles and Americans, observing they were shared across world stages.

In November 2021, RadiocorriereTV, the official weekly magazine of Italy's national broadcaster RAI, featured a two-page profile on Vitale in issue no. 44 (Anno 90), spanning pages 40–41. The article highlighted Vitale's initiatives during the pandemic, featuring her multilingual virtual choir hymn, Hymn to Humanity, and noted her participation in musical projects that focus on social impact and the integration of digital media.
