Vera Grabocka Flloko (born March 21, 1951) is an Albanian Television director, entrepreneur[1], producer[2], businesswoman[3], philanthropist, television personality, composer[4] and actress[5]. She is known as one of the most influential people for directing TV programs in Televizioni Klan[6] since the 90s.[7]

Biography

Vera Grabocka was born on May 21, 1951 in Korçë, Albania. Her father, Myftar Grabocka[8] was a comitte chairman in Korçë and her mother Leonora[9] was a housewife. Her family suffered greatly at the Panarity Masquerade[10] in 1914. Always dreamed of being part of cameras television and with her initiatives she continued to be an actress. After graduating from the Academy of Arts, she decided to dedicate her entire life to television and become part of it.

Career

Her career began in 1970 as an actress in an episodic in the film Montatorja (1970). After that she did not act in any other film but based on her energetic character as a presenter she started worked in RTSH[11] in 80s. Later she became the director of television at Televizioni Klan, managing everything and becoming one of the most famous and well-known people in Albania. She worked all those years in television until now alongside the singer and television presenter Alketa Vejsiu. Her programs directing include X Factor (Albanian TV series)|X Factor Albania[12], Dance With Me Albania[13], Your Face Sounds Familiar (Albanian TV Series)|Your Face Sound Familiar Albania,[14] Ne Kurthin e Piter Pan[15] and Love Story Albania.[16]

Personal life

Grabocka married with Albanian actor and author Timo Flloko[17] in 1984. They have a daughter, Linda Flloko.[18][19][20][21]
