Veeramdeora is a small village of 2194 hectares in Pokaran Tehsil in Jaisalmer district, nicknamed ""The Golden city"" in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Veeramdeora depends on POKARAN, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Veeramdeora is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Veeramdeora's pin code is 345023[4], and village code is 02050300. The area of Veeramdeora is segregated as 766 hectares unirrigated, the 511 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 917 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of POKARAN and Jaisalmer to sell ghee and make their living.
