VeePN - is a Virtual private network (VPN) online service. VeePN allows you to access Web blocking in the United Kingdom, gain your personal data security and give you an opportunity to surf the net anonymously. VeePN is available on Microsoft Windows, Linux, MacOS, Android (operating system), iOS, Apple TV operating systems. It is also available as a browser extension for Google Chrome, Firefox and Opera (web browser).

VeePN was introduced in 2018. The service is committed to providing its users with Online and offline freedom on the right track. It is based in Panama, a country with no data retention laws.[3]

At the beginning of 2018, VeePN was available only on Microsoft Windows, Android, and iOS Operating system. Users noticed unstable connection speeds and a small number of servers. But at the end of 2018, problems with connection speed were eliminated and there were more than 1000 Server in 15 locations around the world.[4]

In the first half of 2019, VeePN emerged as a browser extension for Google Chrome. Versions for Linux and macOS have been released. However, users have noticed incompatibility with the Netflix service.[5] The number of servers was increased to 1350+ and more than 21 locations around the world.

At the beginning of 2020, versions for Smart TV and Router were released. The customers were presented with versions of browsers for Firefox and Opera. VeePN has also increased the number of servers to 1800+ and more than 30 locations worldwide.[6] In mid-2020, VeePN eliminated the Virtual private network compatibility issue with Netflix. A Kill switch (disambiguation) bug has been fixed. The number of servers was increased to 2000+ and locations was increased to 40+ all over the world.[7]

In the second half of 2020, the Opera browser extension was released. The number of servers increased to 2500+ and 50 locations around the world.[8]

Prevention of a DNS leak - DNS requests go through an encrypted tunnel and do not interact with external providers, which guarantees complete data protection. The traffic and DNS inquiries remain closed to outside view.[12]

Military-grade encryption - VeePN offers 256-bit encryption, Kill Switch function and public Wi-Fi security. This ensures complete security of the connection and data.[13]

Multiple VPN Protocol - VeePN uses OpenVPN, WireGuard and Internet Key Exchange protocols to secure connection and data privacy. The company also developed its own protocol "Smart VeePN". This protocol allows you to bypass geolocation blocking, which is not possible with other protocols.[14]
