Vandeo is a small village of 324 hectares in Sanchore Tehsil in Jalor district, also known as Granite City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Vandeo depends on SANCHORE, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 85.00% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Vandeo is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Vandeo's pin code is 343041[4], and village code is 02333200. The area of Vandeo is segregated as 283 hectares irrigated area, the 30 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 11 hectare area not available for cultivation.
