News [6], the University of Chicago [7], and other notable news media and institutes. She was an Unconventional Weapons Analyst and an academic expert for the United States Air Force Center of Unconventional Weapons Studies. Here, she published an investigative report on Israeli nuclear weapons programs and military operations to Issue No. 1297 of their Outreach Journal [8]. She began working at the United Nations Permanent Missions in 2018, when she worked at the Permanent Mission of the Dominican Republic to the United Nations [9], as she completed her Politics and Human Rights B.A., at Marymount Manhattan College [10]. Following this, she became a government-appointed Adviser at the Permanent Mission of El Salvador to the United Nations [11]

As she completed her Master of International Affairs at the Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs, she became a government-appointed Adviser at the Permanent Mission of Panama to the United Nations [12]. At these Missions, she specialized in the committees of the United Nations General Assembly and the matters of the United Nations Economic and Social Council. She also formed part of the delegation of the El Salvador Mission during the 74th Session of the United Nations General Assembly High-Level Week, which consisted of herself, H.E. the President of El Salvador, Nayib Bukele, the Permanent Representative and Alternate Ambassadors of the United Nations Permanent Mission of El Salvador, and other diplomats from the El Salvador Mission.

Valerie is notable for having contributed to the negotiation of diverse resolutions relative to human rights, decolonization and international finance; for aiding the Panama Mission in gaining admittance to numerous international organs, and for her mitigation of international and governmental ties, throughout the diplomatic and governmental arenas.

While she was at the Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs, Valerie also spearheaded a top research investigation at the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs,[13], where she was a project manager and consultant for a group investigation there. Her key area of investigative focus at the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs was centered around infrastructure asset management, in support of the Sustainable Development Goals, and smart city technological innovation. She published this report for the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs to the Columbia University site.[14]

Here, she co-taught undergraduate courses centered on international affairs, foreign policy, political theory, the Russia-Ukraine war, and other geopolitical affairs. Valerie has also worked with a number of NGOs and other entities; including, but not limited to, the the Government of New York City [17], the American Red Cross [18] and the Committee to Protect Journalists [19]. Valerie was featured on the show hosted by Luis Castro called “Cartas sobre la Mesa,” on RT en Español, in December 2021 [20], with the American political analyst, Danny Shaw [21], and H.E. the Permanent Ambassador of Bolivia to the United Nations, Diego Pary.
