Upreda is a small village of 812 hectares in Rashmi Tehsil in Chittorgarh district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Upreda depends on Kapasan, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 92.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Upreda is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Upreda's pin code is 312203[4], and village code is 03529900. The area of Upreda is segregated as 179 hectares irrigated area, 218 hectares unirrigated, the 182 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 232.69 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Kapasan and Chittorgarh to sell earthen pot and make their living.
