University of Chittagong

In Bangladesh, the Institution of Chittagong (UC) is a public research university with interdisciplinary faculties that is spread over a 2110-acre mountainous landmass in Fatehpur Union of Hathazari Upazila, 22 kilometres north of the city of Chittagong. Among Bangladeshi institutions, this one has the biggest campus by a wide margin. The university's academic operations officially started on November 18, 1966, when the university's first classes were held. Approximately 24,000 students are enrolled, and more than 1000 academic members are employed.
