Unity Phelan is an American Actress and Professional Ballet Dancer with New York City Ballet[1] born in Princeton, New Jersey. She is best known for her roles in Sakura (2015)[2], I'm Thinking of Ending Things (film) (2019)[3], and John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum (2020)[4].
Biography
Unity Phelan was born in Princeton, New Jersey on February 18, 1995. At the age of five, she began her dance training at Princeton Ballet School. The school showcases faculty with extensive dance backgrounds. Phelan started attending various summer programs at a young age. One of these summer intensives that got her her start in the professional dance world was The School of American Ballet[5] in New York City. The School of American Ballet is the official school of the New York City Ballet.Phelan attended the 2008 and 2009 summer programs. At the age of 14, she moved to New York City and began as a full-time student at the school. In December of 2012, she joined the company as an apprentice, and joined the corps de ballet the following year. In February of 2017, she was promoted to the rank of soloist. Unity Phelan has also modeled professionally with Puma (brand), Jaime Wolf Jewelry, Milly, and Equinox Hotels.She has worked with Lionsgate in the 2020 film John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum as the role of "Rooney". She also took part in a short film in 2015 (Sakura)[2] and I'm Thinking of Ending Things (film) I'm Thinking of Ending Things (film).[3]
