Unchhpur is a small village of 516 hectares in Bansur Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Unchhpur depends on KOTPUTLI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 216.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Unchhpur is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Unchhpur's pin code is 301402[4], and village code is 00871200. The area of Unchhpur is segregated as 316 hectares irrigated area, 117 hectares unirrigated, the 65 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 18 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of KOTPUTLI and Alwar to sell leather shoes and make their living.
