Unawara is a small village of 1090 hectares in Osian Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Unawara depends on Phalodi, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Unawara is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Unawara's pin code is 342311[4], and village code is 01932400. The area of Unawara is segregated as 880 hectares unirrigated, the 196.22 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 14.22 hectare area not available for cultivation.
