Umretha is a small village of 976 hectares in Bah Tehsil in Agra district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Umretha depends on Pinahat (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Umretha's pin code is 283123[4], and village code is 01640600. The area of Umretha is segregated as 203 hectares irrigated area, 316 hectares unirrigated, remaining 12 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Umretha has One post office (Umretha B.O). The village is connected with a single bus service. Umretha has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.
