Ummedpura is a small village of 733 hectares in Asind Tehsil in Bhilwara district, also known as the Textile City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Ummedpura depends on Shahpura, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Ummedpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Ummedpura's pin code is 311302[4], and village code is 02814100. The area of Ummedpura is segregated as 34 hectares irrigated area, 348 hectares unirrigated, the 137 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 214.2 hectare area not available for cultivation.
