Umesh Shyama Raju (born 8 July 1980) is an Indian businessman, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. He is the Pro-Chancellor of REVA University, an Indian University based in Bengaluru. He is also the trustee of Rukmini Educational Charitable Trust as well as the Co-owner and Director of Divyasree Developers.
Early life
Umesh Raju was born on 8 July 1980 in Bengaluru, India to Dr P Shyama Raju and Late Smt Rukmini Shyama Raju. He has an elder sister Arathi B Raju, who is the trustee of Rukmini Educational Charitable Trust.
Career
On September 30, 2022, he was appointed as the Pro Chancellor of REVA University. Earlier he was serving multiple roles at REVA University as Trustee of Rukmini Educational Charitable Trust, Member of the Board of Governors and Board of Management as well as the Director of DivyaSree.
