Ugai is a small village of 779 hectares in Kekri Tehsil in Ajmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Ugai depends on Kekri, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Ugai is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Ugai's pin code is 305404[4], and village code is 02580600. The area of Ugai is segregated as 129.52 hectares irrigated area, 381 hectares unirrigated, the 206 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 62 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Kekri and Ajmer to sell ghee and make their living.
