Udaiya is a small village of 59 hectares in Sagwara Tehsil in Dungarpur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Udaiya depends on Galiakot, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Udaiya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Udaiya's pin code is 314026[4], and village code is 03347800. The area of Udaiya is segregated as 25 hectares irrigated area, 6 hectares unirrigated, the 16 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 12 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Galiakot and Dungarpur to sell juggary and make their living.
