Uchpadra is a small village of 727 hectares in Pokaran Tehsil in Jaisalmer district, nicknamed ""The Golden city"" in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Uchpadra depends on POKARAN, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Uchpadra is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Uchpadra's pin code is 345021[4], and village code is 02056100. The area of Uchpadra is segregated as 479 hectares unirrigated, the 231 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 17.11 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Uchpadra is a census village in the district of Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 355 and has total administration over 58 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of POKARAN and Jaisalmer to sell woolan cloths and make their living.
