Tymon Kolasiński is a Polish Rubik's Cube speedsolver who is currently tied 2nd place for the world record average of five 3×3×3 solves (by WCA standards), 4.86 seconds, set on the 30th of July 2022.[1] Kolasiński holds the Polish national record in the 3×3×3[2], 4×4×4[3], 5×5×5[4], 6×6×6[5], and 7×7×7[6] events, which is also top ten in the world.

Before rising to spotlight in cubing for his efficient solutions in N×N×N cubes, he specialized in the Pyraminx, where he previously achieved the world record single and has held the Pyraminx average world record a total of four times.[7] He became the 2019 Pyraminx world champion after winning the event in the WCA World Championship 2019, with a final average of 2.40 seconds.[8] He is also the 2022 European champion of five events.[9][10]

He is best known for his efficient CFOP solutions, utilizing advanced techniques paired with quick thinking in order to stay consistent.[11]

As of 16 April 2023, he has won 228 total events in World Cube Association competitions.[12]
