Tyler Aiden Larson[1] (born September 18, 2003, in Pennsylvania), known
professionally as Tyler Larson, is an American singer, rapper, songwriter, and producer. His most popular single, “Gemini” with YDA Danial, has a combined total of over 35 thousand listens across Spotify and Apple Music since its release in 2022. This resulted in him being featured in Billboard Hip Hop Magazine.[2] His style was described as “Rather than taking the flow or sound from other successful musicians, he makes it his own and changes the way the listener hears the song.”[3]
Early Life
Artist Tyler Larson was born on September 18, 2003, in Souderton, a neighborhood in Pennsylvania.[4] Tyler was raised in Souderton and began singing at age thirteen after listening to Panic! at the Disco and Eminem. He attended Souderton Area High School, where he connected with other artists and expanded his sound. He said "I was a regular kid, nobody noticed me. I was the one always in the back of the classroom, quiet.”[2] After graduating from Souderton High School in 2021, Tyler went to Liberty University as a Commercial Music major.[5] He continued to work on his artistry here, starting by tweaking his flow, rhymes, and overall sound. He even built a studio inside his dorm to record music. Here he met Jay Slime (a popular artist from NYC), and they released B4 SLIME WRLD, a 4-song EP.
Career
2015–2021: Career beginnings
Tyler began his career in 2015, originally making covers with his guitar[6] on YouTube[7], but these releases have since been deleted from the Internet.[8] On June 30, 2018, Tyler made his first public appearance in 2021 when he released his first single “thank u, for the best”.[3]
2021–present: Gemini & B4 SLIME WRLD
Tyler was featured on fellow New York rapper SLIME WRLD's EP, "B4 SLIME WRLD" on December 24, 2021.[9] The EP has over 60,000 streams on Spotify alone. On September 30, 2022, Tyler and YDA Danial released their single, Gemini, which gained over 35,000 combined streams.
