Biography

Forrest grew up in Abita Springs, Louisiana. From a young age, he developed a passion for the creative arts, focusing on the visual arts, writing, and music. During his teenage years, Forrest began forming bands and writing original songs, which he performed around Louisiana.[3]

Forrest initially gained recognition in the Southern music scene before transitioning into acting. He secured roles in television series such as "Major Crimes," "Awkward," and "Rizzoli & Isles," and films including "Evan's Crime," "American Ultra," and "Dark Places." Additionally, Forrest has directed and written several short films and music videos, such as "Luna," "Villa Blanc," and "The Drop" music video series.[4]

Forrest relocated to Los Angeles, forming the indie rock band The Scared Crows, where he serves as the frontman and guitarist. The band’s music blends indie rock, alternative, and hard rock, often exploring themes of love, loss, and self-discovery.

Forrest has made significant contributions to film music, composing for films such as "The Dirty South" (2023) and "Search and Destroy" (2020). He produced the tracks "That Woman," “Carol of the Bayou,” and "Outlaws" for "The Dirty South." Additionally, he curates JamNation, a popular jam night at the Rainbow Bar & Grill in Hollywood.

Forrest’s debut solo album, "Motherland," is set for release in 2024. The album is described as "neo-country," merging his southern heritage with contemporary R&B and modern production elements.
