Turtipar is a small village of 169.5 hectares in Belthara Road Tehsil in Ballia district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Turtipar depends on Belthara Road , the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Turtipar's pin code is 221715[4], and village code is 09076300. The area of Turtipar is segregated as 118 hectares irrigated area, 16 hectares unirrigated area. the 37 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 130 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Belthara Road and Ballia to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
