Tursangpura is a small village of 302 hectares in Sapotra Tehsil in Karauli district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Tursangpura depends on KARAULI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 91.94% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Tursangpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Tursangpura's pin code is 322218[4], and village code is 01251800. The area of Tursangpura is segregated as 195.74 hectares irrigated area, 14.99 hectares unirrigated, the 7.58 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 51.24 hectare area not available for cultivation.
