Turki Para is a small village of 397 hectares in Chhabra Tehsil in Baran district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Turki Para depends on Chhabra, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 22.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Turki Para is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Turki Para's pin code is 325220[4], and village code is 03948500. The area of Turki Para is segregated as 22 hectares irrigated area, 241 hectares unirrigated, the 32 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 102 hectare area not available for cultivation.
